State-of-the-art bench-top bioreactors for fermentation applications

Description

Bioreactors are used for cultivation of micro-organisms under highly controlled conditions. A bioreactor provides an environment where cells can be cultivated to accomplish ideal growth and production of chemicals, proteins or other valued molecules.

Technical Details

4 Eppendorf bioreactors with a working volume range of 1.3 – 3.8 litre are available for all industrial parties to conduct their fermentation processes. The setup supports a wide range of processes and micro-organisms. These include, but are not limited to, (anaerobic) bacteria, fungi, yeasts and (heterotrophic) algae. Batch, fed-batch and continuous operating modes can be setup and executed reliably. Multiple parameters such as dissolved oxygen, pH and temperature can be controlled accurately.
