7 T wide bore NMR spectrometer

Description

Bruker Avance 300 MHz solid state spectrometer

Technical Details

This NMR spectrometer is dedicated for in vivo NMR spectroscopy, metabolic studies of living organisms, solid state NMR, and magic-angle-spinning NMR. Recently the system has been extended with an 10 T/m gradient set for diffusion ordered spectroscopy (DOSY) and q-space imaging. The latter is used to quantify (bio)porous structures and food systems.

Complementary Techniques

This equipment is part of the MAGNEtic resonance research FacilitY (MAGNEFY). Magnefy is a rare and unique NMR facility. It offers user access to various NMR, MRI and ESR spectrometers (ranging from low to high magnetic fields, including imaging, solid state (MAS) and liquid state NMR), with applications ranging from molecular, cells and organisms suspensions to complex foods and intact plant level.
